We generally ship orders within 5 business days of the order being placed and once payment has cleared through PayPal. 

However, during peak times there may be a delay of 5 to 8 business days. You will receive an email from The Bath Chemist Canada when your order ships with a delivery confirmation number.

Please understand it may take several days for tracking to show up, and orders are often received well before tracking information is available.

We ship via Canada Post, which within Canada typically takes 2 to 5 business days to receive your order from the day we ship, but please allow at least 7 business days from the day we ship your order before contacting us regarding a potential lost or delayed order.

Your satisfaction with our products is of greatest importance to us.

However, due to Canadian Health Regulations, we cannot accept returns on products if they have been opened or used.

We cannot be held responsible for shipping delays with the carrier and cannot reimburse for shipping expenses. We do not refurn shipping costs.

When purchasing bath bombs or bath fizzies, there may be the possibility that breakage could occur during shipping.  We attempt to package these, and all products, as best as possible, however, breakage is beyond the control of The Bath Chemist Canada.

No, none of The Bath Chemist Canada products contain alcohol.  Alcohol is very irritating to the skin.

The Bath Chemist Canada lists all ingredients on every bath product description.  Click on 'Bath Products', select a product to view.  An image, description of product along with ingredients will be displayed on your screen.

If you are allergic to a specific ingredient, let us know in the Special Instructions or Comments when you place your order, and we will make sure that none of the items you ordered contain that ingredient.

If you let us know of any allergies, we can also substitute for another ingredient.

For example:  if you have peanut / nut allergies and one of the butter/oil ingredients is nut-based, we would substitute the butter or oil for a non nut-based ingredient.

If you are sensitive to fragrances or scents, please remember that The Bath Chemist Canada creates luxury bath and body products fragrance-free (unscented).

Simply click on 'fragrance-free' under choice of fragrance.

We do our best to make our products as natural and as gentle as possible.  That is why all of our products are available without a scent / fragrance-free, so that even people with the most senstive of skins can use them. 

However, we cannot guarantee that our products will not cause irritation. 

No company can guarantee that.  Everyone's skin is different, and some people have sensitivities or allergies to specific ingredients that are normally non-irritating. 

This is not unique to skin care ingredients.  It also applies to foods, drugs and other products. 

This is why we recommend that you do a patch test before using any new skin care product.

At the Bath Chemist Canada we recommend that you do a patch test in order to ensure that you have no skin allergies to the product.  This is a practice that should always be done when using a new product, regardless of brand.

We do our best to make our products as natural and as gentle as possible, however, each individual is unique.

A patch test is easy to do.

Simply apply a small amount of the product to the inside of your wrist or elbow and leave uncovered for twenty four hours and do not wash this area. 

Therefore, the best time to start a patch test would be right after you take your daily shower. 

If there are any signs of itching, redness or swelling during the 24 hours, then you should not use the product.
